Behavioral Intervention Provider - South Meridian
Fridays 7:30am to 5pm
Our family is seeking a dependable, kind and patient Independent BI Provider to work with our 14 year old child on Fridays from 7:30am to 5pm year-round. (About 1.5 of these weekly hours will be privately paid at $25/hour, the remaining 8 or so hours will be billable BI hours.)
We have additional BI hours approved and used throughout the week by another provider. There may be opportunities to fill-in for each other as needed.
This position involves working with our child who is a happy, funny and active kiddo with level 3 Autism and a rare genetic abnormality. He loves sensory toys, jumping on the trampoline, swinging, playing in water and being silly with others. We have a large temperature-controlled shop with sensory equipment (trampoline, swing, etc.) and bins of activities to engage him with. (You won’t need to bring supplies for this client.) We are a supportive, dedicated and engaged family. Our average team member tenure has been 3+ years.
We prefer a provider who has worked with level 3 Autism, nonverbal kiddos and/or has helped cognitively impaired kiddos to build functional skills and overcome negative behaviors like aggression and elopement. Our son is soothed by car rides, so we would like to find someone who also has a clean driving record (since you would drive our family vehicle for this activity).
If this sounds like a good fit, please click apply and tell us a little bit about your experience and interest.
